Tautou to help Hanks crack The Da Vinci Code

Audrey Tautou will play Sophie Neveu in the film version of The Da Vinci Code.

French actress Audrey Tautou has signed on to co-star with double Oscar-winner Tom Hanks in the movie version of the bestselling novel The Da Vinci Code.

Tautou, 26, who starred in Jean-Pierre Jeunet's hit films Amelie and A Very Long Engagement, will play cryptographer Sophie Neveu in the film of Dan Brown's novel, according to Daily Variety.
