The tarakihi have been biting well with good catches from the Bay of Plenty. An excellent eating fish and one of the few that seem to improve with refrigeration.
Ingredients
4-6 tarakihi fillets
1 litre sour cream
2 tsp hot English mustard
Dash of paprika
Tsp cane sugar
Tsp mixed herbs
Tsp salt
Directions
* Fillet and skin tarakihi then wash in salt water.
* Lay fillets out in a buttered baking dish.
* Blend sour cream, mustard, ginger, paprika, mixed herbs and salt.
* Spread mixture over the fillets.
* Bake at 180 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
* Serve with hot lemon wedges, salad and a baked potato.
