Tall tales in the capital

Lovers of tall tales and true stories should check out the Wellington Storytellers' Cafe, which takes place on the first Tuesday of every month. The get-together at the Wellington Arts Centre is for all storytellers and story-lovers and gives participants a chance to present and discuss their craft, often with special guests. Primarily for adults, but older children welcome. It's from 7.30pm to 9pm and costs $5, including light refreshments.
