The five bedroom and five bathroom house in Hollywood Hills West is listed on US real estate company Compass for US$4,999,999, ($6.9m) the Los Angeles Times reported.

It's described on its website as an "updated" 1930s English countryhome just above the Sunset Strip and famed Chateau Marmont.
Private and gated, the property boasts 5000 square feet (465sq m) of living space on a 12,000+ square feet (1115sq m) "useable lot" with a secluded pool and spa.
