Superman's parents say Brandon Routh is still the kind and earnest son they raised in Norwalk, even though the star of Superman Returns was greeted by dozens of hometown fans at a special premiere of the movie in Iowa.
His mother, Katie Routh, said she hasn't seen much difference in her son.
"He's the same," she said. "I haven't seen any change whatsoever."
