The superhero adventures Spider-Man 2 and The Incredibles have made the American Film Institute's list of 2004's top 10 movies.
Also on the list are the not-yet-released Howard Hughes film biography The Aviator, directed by Martin Scorsese, and Million Dollar Baby, directed by Clint Eastwood, who also starred as a gym owner who trains a female boxer.
Rounding out the group's list, which does not rank the films, are the hitman thriller Collateral; the quirky romances Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Sideways; the football drama Friday Night Lights; the drug-smuggling drama Maria Full of Grace; and Kinsey, a biography of sex researcher Alfred Kinsey.
