Nineteen-year-old Olivia Moor took home the grand prize in the Viva Fashions in the Field event at Ellerslie.
The AUT graphic design student wore a hot pink silk chiffon tea dress, complemented by a fascinator with fuschia feathers, both made by her mother, Alison.
The outfit was accessorised with pink heels from Andrea Biani and pink crochet gloves, bought on a shopping trip to the United States.
"Mum made the dress but we designed it together after buying the fabric at a vintage textile place," Olivia told the Herald on Sunday.
Olivia's older sister Charlotte won the category last year.
Olivia's prize package includes a three-month lease of a Mercedes Benz CLC 200K Coupe, a four-day Fijian cruise, a return trip to Hong Kong and jewellery.
