Check out this week's fashion wrap in the NZ Herald online Style File. Gents about town (pictured above l-r) Ricardo Simich and Andy Pickering (aka the Herald on Sunday 'Spy boys') have kept a close eye on the social set to bring you their best and worst looks. They've also been scouring the streets for Kiwis that catch their eye, what's on trend and people pushing boundaries. Did they get it right? Who's your pick of the bunch? Street Style: These are the ladies and gents who stopped us in our tracks this week around Auckland.
While sitting on the X Factor judging panel, Ruby Frost went through a phase of wearing either white or silver - always looking stunning. Last Thursday evening we spotted her at Juice Bar in Parnell for Daniel Bedingfield's EP release. It was a rock gig so rosey-haired Ruby dressed down, but still looked captivating in a simple, mesh dress from Scandinavia, accented by black stockings, black shoes and a silver band necklace. A pixie star!
Worst Dressed: X Factor contestant Tom Batchelor
Before X Factor, lovable rouge Tom Batchelor was a busker and labourer in Christchurch. And it shows. Tom is charming, but if he wants to take his rock star persona to the next level he needs to start dressing the part. Tom also showed up at Daniel Bedingfield's launch party, and while there was nothing too offensive about Tom's Maher snakeskin boots, vintage pinstripe pants and denim shirt as individual pieces, they were not working as a cohesive outfit. Especially not for a wannabe rock star. Try harder Tom!
