Style File road tripped to Clevedon over the weekend to take in a day of sophistication at the BMW Polo Open.
While the competition on the field was action packed, the VIP tented areas hosted by sponsors were just as exciting. An electric mix of Polo fans, sponsors and celebrities jostled for pole position in the fashion stakes.
The Polo dress code is called "Polo attire" and it can be hard to define. It's much less formal than the races, fascinators are a no-no at the polo, which has a more casually stylish dress code. The Veuve Clicquot tent was the place to be with a parade of celebrities all coming out to enjoy a day of champagne and horsey sport. Veuve Clicquot stipulated on their invite that the dress code was "Whimsical Chic". We feel that sums up Polo fashion perfectly. Here are some of the most stylish guests.
