"She dabbled in writing and recording songs nothing professional of course but very important to me.
"I found her backups but they are all in the PTF format.
"She knew how to do all of this stuff but I have no idea. I just want to be able to hear her voice again."
Strangers came to his aid, helping him convert the files so he and his son could hear her voice again.
Sharry died on June 16 at just 29 years old.
TODAY reported the young mother may have died from a rare amniotic fluid embolism.
Little James was also left without oxygen for a period of time during the birth. A few weeks before he was born, Sharry wrote a song for James titled "Baby Don't Worry".
Jared told TODAY he was "blown away" by the kindness strangers showed him online when he asked for help.
He described James as his "best friend, my everything".
As well as the songs, Sharry also left behind a bucket list of things she wanted to do with her son, including driving across the US, watching the sun rise and volunteering in a soup kitchen.
"He is a literal piece of my lost soulmate and I love him more than I thought possible," Jared told TODAY of his son.
"My life of bliss and happiness was ripped away in an extreme tragedy, but Sharry did not leave JJ and me empty handed."
"She left us memories, her love, her writings, her songs, and her bucket list that serves as a road map for our future."
A Go Fund Me page has been set up for the family.
Due to James being deprived of oxygen during birth there were some health complications, but a four-week check-up showed he is meeting all his milestones.
Jared said he and James listen to Sharry's songs each night, and his son's face lights up.
