A kitten who survived a trip from Papamoa to Auckland after stowing away under the bonnet of a car, has been re-homed.
The 3-month-old kitten, nicknamed Steve at the veterinary clinic where he was sheltered, travelled 240km last month.
An employee at Auckland's Forrest Hill Veterinary Clinic & Hospital, Steve's home for the past month, said he went to his new home today.
