Why is this beauty in New Zealand? To go bungy jumping, eat a burger in Queenstown and strut in six shows for Fashion Week.
The most recent winner of America's Next Top Model Krista White made an appearance at the Moet and Chandon Launch Party in Auckland last night, the pre-party to the official launch of New Zealand Fashion Week.
White all but upstaged Dan Carter, who arrived at the launch (fashionably) late. She is so ahead of her time, the series of America's Next Top Model featuring White has not been broadcast here yet.
But her visit will not all be about the shows and high fashion.
She said she was wearing a $15 jacket and skirt, and was looking forward to sampling a Queenstown institution - a Ferg Burger.
White is due to go bungy jumping tomorrow, but is trying to get out of it so she can attend the Cybele show.
She will appear in the show for another international guest, American designer Nicole Miller, as well as in the Huffer show on Friday night. Huffer won White's appearance as part of its prize for the Air New Zealand Designer Export Award.
Other stars in attendance last night included Ali Williams and girlfriend Casey Green and New Zealand's Next Top Model judges Sara Tetro, Colin Mathura-Jeffree and Chris Sisarich.
Carter joined White, film director Taika Waititi and actor Rose McIver in signing a gold-leaf jeroboam of Moet & Chandon Imperial, the first in New Zealand, which will be auctioned at Webbs in support of Oxfam.
New Zealand Fashion Week begins today with an eco-show from Wellington-based label Starfish, followed by shows from Juliette Hogan, Adrian Hailwood, a footwear show from Kathryn Wilson, and Zambesi.
