KEY POINTS:
Viva's Zoe Walker picks her best and worst looks from the Academy Awards red carpet
Natalie Portman in Rodarte
I love Natalie Portman, I love Rodarte and I love this dress. It's great that she chose a bold unexpected colour - but surely she could have attended to those tan lines before she turned up?
Sarah Jessica Parker in Dior Haute Couture
Oh my lord... This is the sort of dress you would expect to see on the likes of Vanessa Hudgens or Miley Cyrus - ie a teenage girl. SJP has a major meringue dress fetish, so I don't know why I'm surprised by this.
Beyonce
I'm sorry, I hate this, on so many levels. It reminds me of a curtain print. Beyonce seems to wear the same dress, or a variation of that dress, every time she hits a red carpet. Okay Beyonce, we get it: you have curves and you're not afraid to show them off.
Freida Pinto in John Galliano
It's a beautiful and interesting dress on a beautiful and interesting girl, but I do wish she had chosen something a bit younger.
Angelina Jolie in Elie Saab
Angelina in black = yawn.
Kate Winslet in Atelier by Yves Saint Laurent
She looks gorgeous, but in my opinion Kate looks great in anything.
Tilda Swinton in Lanvin
She always turns up in something that divides - personally I love her because she doesn't do the usual 'strapless with a fishtail' dress.
Miley Cyrus in Zuhair Murad
Surprisingly, I like this. She's a 16-year-old girl, so it's perfect: sparkly and cute. She should lose the belt though.
