Spacey sounds out idea

Actor Kevin Spacey may quit movies to return to the singing career that gave him his start in show business.

According to the website imdb.com, Spacey hit on the idea after starring in Beyond the Sea, about 1950s crooner Bobby Darin. He has already planned a tour with his Beyond The Sea co-stars, the John Wilson Orchestra, for early next year.

"My background was on stage and in musicals so it's a case of going back to my roots," Spacey said. "If this all goes well [the tour and the movie] I have a good mind to jack in all the acting things and just live the life of a singer-songwriter."
