Song not about Lohan says Simpson

One line in Ashlee Simpson's new song, Boyfriend, has perked up the ears of young fans all over.

Is the line "I didn't steal your boyfriend" directed at Lindsay Lohan?

The talk in Hollywood is that Simpsonwooed away actor Wilmer Valderrama from Lohan, but Simpson says the line addresses no one in particular.

Simpson is most famous for undertaking an impromptu hoedown on Saturday Night Live after she stopped singing but her voice miraculously and embarrassingly kept on, leading to charges of lip-synching.
