Everyone was watching me read the letter. I couldn't help grinning.

"Hooo, eh?" called Tu. "What's it say?"

I could feel my face flushing red. "Dessy says hi."

"Bet that's not all she says," cried Vinny, reaching for the card. "Give us a look."

"Yeah let's see," said Tu.

I pulled the letter back, but Vinny and Tu kept coming for it. Tammy suddenly loomed beside me. She was bigger than her twin brother, and she was holding a hockey stick.

"It's private!" she growled, lifting the stick. "Leave him alone."

"Aw man," moaned Tu. "Bet you read it before you gave it to him." Tammy waved the stick.

"Okay, okay," cried Tu, quickly backing away."Open your present then," called Vinny from behind Tu's back.
