Raymond's clever. He hunts kids like a dog hunting rabbits. But I know this little area in the bushes where Mr Foster caught Rob Lindsay trying his first cigarette. He made him do an essay on smoking related deaths, and Rob doesn't smoke now.
Anyway, I read my book there for half an hour, chuckling at the thought of Raymond ranging through the streets looking for me - even staking out the mall.
The sounds of the school died away; the buses and cars came and went. Finally, I decided it was safe to come out. I went inside to my locker to get my bag. Someone grabbed me and spun me around.
