Leo changed the subject again. 'Saw you playing footie with your dad earlier. You look pretty good.'
'I'm school team captain,' Tom boasted.
'Not surprised. Fancy a game?'
'What - now?'
'Friday. There's a Sixes tournament on the beach. You want to play?'
'Sure - count me in.'
'Problem is, see, we need someone to enter our team at the site office,' Leo admitted. 'Y'know, a grown-up, like.'
'We?'
'Yeah, them mates of mine.'
'Can't one of your parents do it?'
