By ROB CHILDS
Tom Dillon gave a little sigh. It was Monday afternoon, the third day of his family's summer holiday, and he was bored.
He'd already spent most of his week's pocket money in the campsite's small amusement arcade. He'd buried his dad in the sand - twice. He'd even scored a century in a game of beach cricket - but as his kid sister had done most of the bowling, he doubted whether such a feat would make headlines on the sports pages of the local paper.
'What's up with you, Tom?'
He turned towards the voice. Lost in his brooding, he hadn't noticed anyone else come to join him on the swings. It was a dark-haired boy of about his own age, wearing only a pair of black swimming trunks.
