A dog named Sniffles, on account of his nose and mouth deformities, has been rescued from the streets in a Christmas miracle.
The rescue group who took the odd-looking pooch into care reported that he was found with whipworms and hookworms, generally a sign of poor living conditions.
Although Sniffles isn't your average looking dog, and might not be considered "cute" by typical standards, he has a loving nature and is healthy despite his unusual appearance. His extreme facial abnormalities are likely due to his rough life on the streets before being saved, however, the vets caring for him can't be certain exactly where they stem from.
Sniffles' deformity may deter people from adopting him, but everyone who meets him falls in love with his quirky charm according to vet workers. And he has quickly become a star in a veterinarian's office in Chuluota, Orange County.
