Auckland-based band Goldenhorse has set a new album chart record.
The band's debut album "Riverhead" is sitting at number one, but it has not exactly bolted up the charts.
It has taken 22 months to reach the top spot, earning it the record for slowest climb.
Goldenhorse recorded "Riverhead" over two years, finally releasing it in October 2002 where it debuted at number 43.
But all those months on the chart have not hurt sales and the album is rapidly approaching triple platinum status.
