Actor Sir Michael Caine says 31-year-old David Beckham is too young to get a knighthood.
The veteran actor told BBC radio: "He strikes me as being very young. "He's about 34. I was over twice his age when I got mine. They should wait until he gets his first grey hair, like they did with me, then give him a knighthood."
Caine joked that Beckham's wife Victoria was already a Lady, and that her husband probably needed the title to catch up.
