Sione's Wedding earns $3 million and counting

The New Zealand film Sione's Wedding has grossed more than $3 million at the New Zealand box office since it opened five weeks ago.

South Pacific Pictures spokesman Tamar Monch said the film had the highest-ever opening box office weekend for a local film and is currently the fifth highest-grossing New Zealand film.
