By PAUL JENNINGS
He suddenly rushed to the door and slammed it behind him. He didn't want me to see how upset he was. I looked at Singenpoo. She had moist eyes. Do cats cry? Surely not.
Singenpoo began to meow and tap loudly on the glass. Did she want Scott back? Or did she just want to get out?
I couldn't be sure.
I picked Singenpoo up and started stroking her. But she just jumped out of my arms and ran back to the window. She meowed again in a very anxious voice.
Then she jumped down and began scratching at the door.
'No way,' I said. 'You're not going outside. Scott would never forgive me. I tell you what - let's play Scrabble.'
