'It's Major Mac,' yelled Scott.

I stared out at the angry man. Boy, was he mad. He was running along the footpath with a huge Alsatian dog at his heels.

'That cat's not registered,' he shouted. 'It's a menace. Hand it over, you little brat.'

He vanished around the corner after Sean and Grilla.

'I have to go, Rhys,' said Scott. 'We've got to stop Major Mac and save the cats.'

I gave Scott a friendly punch on the arm. 'Don't worry, mate,' I said. 'I'll look after Singenpoo. She's safe with me.'

Scott picked up his cat and gave her a hug. 'Goodbye, Singenpoo,' he said. 'I'll see you when I get back.'
