We all stared out. 'Sean Patterson,' I gasped.

'And that old tom-cat Grilla,' said Scott.

Sean was belting along the road pulling a cart full of meat scraps. Grilla was on top. He looked terrified. About a million flies were trying to keep up.

'Sean's helping me to save the stray cats,' said Scott. 'He tries to get them before Major Mac does. That's what the meat is for.'

'He looks like he's in big trouble,' I said.

Sean and Grilla disappeared around the corner in a cloud of dust.

Singenpoo started to hiss and all the fur fluffed up on her back. Now what?

Someone else was coming.
