Kiwi rock icons Shihad are in town this week for a one-night-only show at AUT.
The Melbourne-based band will play in the university's quad tomorrow night, joined by fellow local rockers The Mint Chicks and The Tutts.
While AUT students can enjoy the rockin' showcase for free, there are limited public tickets available from the AuSM office on campus.
The boys have returned home for a short trip, during which they will play an exclusive gig at the Transmission Room for C4's music show Live at Your Place, hosted by Joel Defries.
Originally from Wellington, the band have been busy this year touring Europe and Australia, while writing new material for their eighth album.
Shihad released their first-ever live DVD Love Is the New Hate earlier this year, featuring footage from their 2005 New Zealand Music Month opening gig at Aotea Square.
* Shihad, The Mint Chicks and The Tutts play at the AUT quad, Friday October 20 at 9pm. Tickets available from Ticketmaster.
