Shayne has 'X factor'

Shayne Ward has won Britain's X Factor TV contests, thanks to his army of female fans.

The 21-year-old from Manchester is being hailed as Britain's answer to Justin Timberlake.

His good looks ensured judge Sharon Osbourne flirted outrageously with him each week on the TV talent show.

But Ward, a former shop assistant, has vowed to stay faithful to his girlfriend Faye McKeever.

"The producers had warned me that there would be temptation. And I told her she'd have to understand. But I can fight temptation."

Shayne has overcome heartache to triumph in the show. His father Martin is serving an eight-year sentence for rape, and his brother was charged with murdering a pregnant mother but later cleared.
