KEY POINTS:
New Zealand men are holding their own in the sexy stakes, with two Kiwis making it on to the E! channel's list of the world's 25 sexiest men _ All Black heart-throb Dan Carter and Whangarei-born country singer and Hollywood husband Keith Urban.
Carter, 26, comes in at number 11 on the American network's 25 Sexiest Men of the World episode, which will screen in New Zealand later this month.
The kicking whiz, who is heading to France for a six-month stint at the Perpignan club after the current All Blacks' tour of Great Britain is over, has sent hearts racing here as the face (and body) of the Jockey underwear brand.
He has often topped "hot" lists in Aotearoa.
Mr Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, features at a respectable 16th place.
The 41-year-old Kiwi-born Australian, who once posed nude for Playgirl magazine, married Hollywood actor Kidman in 2006 and is the father of Kidman's baby Sunday Rose.
E!'s list has an international flavour, featuring hotties from India, the Philippines, South Africa and Greece. Taking out the top spot is UK football superstar David Beckham, 33, followed by American actor Johnny Depp, who lives in the south of France with his French chanteuse wife Vanessa Paradis.
Kiwi women spoken to by the Herald on Sunday had mixed reactions to the list. Jamee Zohs, 18, was not too fussed about Urban's inclusion.
"I don't think he's very hot." The other Kiwi on the list met with approval, however. "Dan Carter's pretty sexy," she said.
Asked which other Kiwis she would have liked to seen included, Zohs didn't hesitate to name Wellington rugby and Sevens star Tamati Ellison as her number one.
Rugby players weren't finding favour with everyone, though. Sally Conor, 26, said "Dan Carter doesn't really do it for me. He's not too bright. I think smart men are sexy."
Top of Conor's list would be former Labour MP Steve Maharey.
