Parker also admits that the clothes she is pictured in on the red carpet don't represent her day-to-day attire. The American star is mother to three children, eight-year old James Wilkie, and twins Marion and Tabitha who were born in 2009.
Parker insists her designer clothes don't mix with life as a busy mum.
"Really, fashion does not play that big a role in my life these days. I don't wear anything worth a dollar at home; the better part of my day is spent in practical clothing. If I'm getting my son to school, I just stuff as much as I can in my parka pocket, and that's the truth," she explained.
Parker confesses to a love of designer clothes, but claims she rarely buys them.
She says that after one night out in an expensive outfit, it is sent straight back to the designer.
"I do love beautiful clothes and am privileged enough to have access to a lot of them, but they're returned the next day, they're not mine!" she quipped.
