A generous shopper has helped struggling families by paying off a total of $20,400 worth of layby bills on Christmas presents for their children.
On Friday, a man named Charlie K walked into Toys 'R' Us in New Jersey with his son during a live broadcast and announced he's payingoff all the layby orders in the store.
Charlie paid off a total of 62 orders, adding up to more than $20,400 worth of toys.
This is Charlie K. While doing a segment @ToysRUs in Cherry Hill, Charlie walked in & decided to pay off all items on layaway. Over 8,000 toys! Charlie also had everyone in the store pick 3 items for @ToysForTots_USA & paid for those too. Amazing generosity. Thank you Charlie. pic.twitter.com/GWr1pbGnVV
"Just, you know, trying to bring some happiness to people. That's really it," he said.
"Help bring back to the community that brought so much happiness to me and my family."

Charlie's generosity didn't end there, he had everyone in the store choose three toys to donate to Toys for Tots, a non-profit organisation that donates toys to kids in need.
One lucky woman who had to quit her job due to surgery complications said that she was worried she wouldn't be able to pay off her grandson's Christmas present in time.
The woman told CBS news: "Thank you very much, I appreciate it and thank God for you!"
Another shopper showed up to the store planning to pay full price for a big box of toys she set aside for the kids, only to find it had already been paid for.
"They come over and tell me someone actually paid the layaway," she said.
"Definitely an early Christmas, and I want to say thank you to the gentleman that came in and donated. It's like the best feeling, thank you."
