A school teacher is under scrutiny after he praised Adolf Hitler, calling him his favourite person in history who did "many great things", in a yearbook.
Jeffrey Acor, a teacher at the Whitesville Central School in New York state in the US, was given a short passage in the book to introduce himself, and named Adolf Hitler as his "favourite person in history", according to Yahoo.
Under the "New guy on the block" section, Acor was asked who his favourite person in history was, to which the history teacher replied: "Adolf Hitler, who did many great things for Germany and their great youth before the infamous Holocaust".

"Adolf was outed and faced hardships early in life which a lot of people can relate to," Acor continued. "Adolf is arguably greatest public speaker in the history of the world. Adolf made many great strides to make Germany a world super power."
