School accidentally creates most inappropriate sign for students

A US school has been the butt of all jokes after accidentally putting up one of the most inappropriate signs for students to read.

A member from Seabrook Intermediate School in Texas was trying to get an important anti-bullying message across to students in a fun and "millennial" way.

But the abbreviated sentences turned out to spell a highly sexual and inappropriate term.

"My sister's middle school put out these fliers (sic) all around and I honestly have no words," a student's sister posted to Twitter.

The sign reads: "Please, bust a N.U.T.

"N - Never Abandon your friends!
"U - Understand your friend's feelings!
"T- Tell your friends how you feel!

"N.U.T. all over your school!

"Let's make SIS a better place by N.U.Tting together! Thank you."

It is being debated who put the sign up, with some claiming a popular teacher at the school created the sign.

"I go to that school and the teacher who put it up often posts quirky signs most days."

However, another claimed it was more than likely a student prank.

"This is actually not fake at all. Student prank. Yes, I know this first hand."

Another Seabrook pupil tweeted saying: "It's real, a guy that was in my science put it up like last month but nobody took it down for some reason."

Sure, it's a good idea to look out for your friends and their wellbeing, but maybe avoid "busting a N.U.T" at school.
