Scary Spice wary of reunion

Mel B is blocking the Spice Girls' reunion at Live 8.

Organiser Sir Bob Geldof said the former Scary Spice was not keen on getting the band back together for the Hyde Park concert on July 2.

But he plans to call her at her Los Angeles home later this week in a last-ditch bid to persuade her.

It had been suggested that organisers did not want the girl band to play at the gig.

But Geldof told Channel 4, "One of them has difficulty ... well, she's doing something in California, but she also has difficulty going back to something she did in the past."
