Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker has thrilled fans by announcing plans for her own shoe line.
The actress, who became a style icon playing fashionista Carrie Bradshaw in the hit series, is joining forces with Manolo Blahnik CEO George Malkemus to create her own footwear range, called SJP.
Parker insists her years of playing the shoe-obsessed character have made her a high heel expert, telling Vogue magazine, "Because I got to play that role, I wore a lot of shoes and by default I learned an enormous amount. It's hard to walk away from that...
"In a silly way, I think it's (the collection) what people have expected of me most because of Carrie Bradshaw."
Parker started up her clothing collection Bitten in 2007 and has also released a series of fragrances.
