Ageing rockers The Rolling Stones have topped the charts for concert tours in the first six months of 2006.
The Stones tour, A Bigger Bang, took in US$147 million ($239.37 million), according to a story in the US music magazine Billboard today.
Two other classic groups claimed second and third place, with the Irish rockers U2 taking US$73 million and Bon Jovi, US$65 million.
The Stones had to delay the European part of their tour for six weeks after guitarist Keith Richards injured himself falling from a tree in Fiji and required hospitalisation and treatment in New Zealand back in May/June.
