Before seeing King Kong in its entirety for the first time, one of the film's stars, Jack Black, joked he had a digital doppelganger and litigation on his mind.

"They took robot pictures of me going in every possible direction and laser photographs of my face so when there was stuff not even a stuntman could do, they could put in a computer roboto version of me."

Black wanted to make sure the robot computer had acted well, he said, "otherwise there may be a lawsuit - because my acting is awesome and bad robot acting could hurt my career".
