US pop star Rihanna has landed a fashionable new role as the face of luxury French designer label Balmain.
The singer will front the label's spring/summer 2014 campaign.
Rihanna gave fans a sneak peek of the campaign by sharing a couple of photos from the shoot on her Instagram page on Tuesday.
Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing insists it was only fitting to have Rihanna model the new collection, because the line was inspired by the the popstar.
"In front of the camera, she makes you feel like she is the only girl in the world. When the woman that inspires you wears your creations, your vision feels complete," Rousteing said.
