Canadian composer Howard Shore was tonight honoured once more for his score for The Lord Of The Rings.
Shore, who won the Best Music (Score) Oscar for his music for The Fellowship of the Ring, tonight picked up another Oscar for the music on the third film in the trilogy based on J R R Tolkien's fantasy classic, The Return Of The King.
"I'd like to share this Oscar with all the amazing musicians and great vocal artists who played on this piece," Shore said, accepting his award.
"I was incredibly inspired by Tolkien's great work, (director) Peter Jackson's visionary film making, and the great writing of Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens."
