The Auckland Festival of Sails gets underway next week with The Louis Vuitton Trophy which sees eight international sailing teams fighting it out on the Waitemata Harbour. In the meantime, this week sees the Louis Vuitton store on Queen Street open the art exhibition "Pippa Blake: Journey". Following the death of her husband - and New Zealand's most famous sailor - Sir Peter Blake, Lady Pippa has been on an incredibly journey - both emotionally and physically - as she's reconnected with her fine art training. Her abstract paintings are an evocative mix of the powerful and the sensitive. The exhibition opens this Friday at Louis Vuitton, 56 Queen St in the city and runs until March 21. You can read our exclusive interview with Lady Pippa in next week's Viva.
