Help the cousins
Look out next month for specially packaged bottles of Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil, with the company repeating its fundraiser for endangered orangutans. Their habitats in South East Asia are threatened by forest clearance, often to grow the palm oil widely used in consumer products, including cosmetics. The New Zealand company raised $20,000 internationally last year for the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation and advocates the use of palm oil grown sustainably. During September, $1 from the $22.90 purchase price of rosehip oil in boxes carrying an orangutan picture will go towards saving the creatures which share 97 per cent of our DNA. trilogyproducts.com.
