The Glassons Breast Cancer Research Trust T-shirts for 2010 have been revealed, with six prints designed by some of our top design talent. Karen Walker, Trelise Cooper, Zambesi, Cybele, Stolen Girlfriends Club and Lonely Hearts have created unique prints for the T-shirts, which go on sale from Glassons stores around the country today. There will also be a new thinner, longer and baggier T-shirt available. Designers were inspired by this year's theme of "Become a Superhero", with a floral lightning bolt print from Karen Walker, superhero belt by Zambesi and a bold butterfly from Stolen Girlfriends Club. Once again, the T-shirts are available for $29.99, with $10 from each sale going to the Breast Cancer Research Trust.
A very special guest
Dunedin iD is set to get an international injection of colour with the arrival of guest designer Zandra Rhodes. The British designer, famous for her bold use of colour, prints and textiles, will showcase pieces from her current collection on the Dunedin iD catwalk in March along with jewellery from prominent English sculptor Andrew Logan. Rhodes will also be a guest judge at the iD Dunedin Emerging Designer Awards. Tickets for the Dunedin iD events go on sale through TicketDirect from 9am on Tuesday 26 January - and trust us, they'll go quickly so don't delay.
More sales
Sale time continues, with Karen Walker, World, Carlson and State of Grace in Kingsland marking down their spring/summer collections. And Cybele is opening a special sale store tomorrow, open until the end of the month. The store, at 54 Ponsonby Rd, will be selling marked-down pieces from Cybele's spring/summer Serpentine collection. Open 10am-6pm every day until January 31.
Hair be gone
Epilators have been around for a while and are an option for hair removal with more staying power than that offered by a shaver. That's because they go beyond the surface, to tug even short hairs out and slow visible regrowth for up to four weeks. The Braun Silk-epil Xpressive Wet&Dry is new in that it can be used in the shower, thus making removal more convenient and comfortable, with warm water easing the epilation process and reducing redness. It's the brand's most effective epilator, removing more hairs in a single stroke and it's waterproof, cordless and quick to recharge. From selected electrical outlets and department stores with a recommended retail price of $209.
First lady
Lancome has teamed up with the glamorous First Lady of France, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, as patron of her charitable foundation, set up last year to support disadvantaged teenagers. The company will back a programme to help French students from modest backgrounds attend art schools to widen their horizons. Lancome celebrates its 75th anniversary this year and ended 2009 celebrating modest growth in the tough New Zealand market. It has high hopes for this year, with its international artistic director New Zealander Aaron De Mey giving a fresh, younger feel to its makeup collections. Fronting his new range O My Rose, due out in late February, will be Elletra Rossellini Wiedermann, daughter of longtime Lancome spokesmodel Isabella Rossellini and granddaughter of Ingrid Bergman. Kate Winslet is the face of a breakthrough range of skincare to be launched soon and Julia Roberts will soon also be fronting for Lancome.
I see red

The reusable cups that accommodate a whole beer are now available to order in New Zealand. Prices start at $20 for a pack of 50, or $60 for 200 and will be available soon from local liquor stores. Or to order some now for summer, visit redcups.co.nz.
