The Poi Room is celebrating Air New Zealand Fashion Week with an exhibition of dolls, running from September 9 through to September 22. Artists Sue McPherson, Su Carmont and Claire Inwood have created individual dolls which will be on display in the Newmarket store.

Auckland's High St just got a bit more stylish with the opening of tkstore. The luxurious new store opened last week downstairs at 18 High St and will be stocking hot Brazilian and European labels such as Gig and Nana Kokaev, as well as owner Turet Knuefermann's label IPG. The store is the second tkstore in Auckland.

Fashion rugs up
Zambesi, Cybele, Nom.d, World, Crane Brothers and State of Grace have each designed a very special designer rug, all of which are up for auction until September 24. World's design features a colourful bird, State of Grace's is covered in polka dots, and Nom.d's features a moody silhouette. Rodeo Drive hits Auckland
Fashion Week fever is taking over Auckland, with Newmarket jumping on the bandwagon. From tomorrow the glamorous shopping precinct will undergo an extreme makeover, with Broadway being turned into a virtual Rodeo Drive. Local organic skincare brand Antipodes has been selected as one of the few natural beauty brands to be sold at the new Sephora store in Hong Kong. The cult beauty store, which first opened in Paris, will open its first Hong Kong store this month.
