Those in the know, know that attending an Angela Wickstead Designer Shopping Event is the hottest ticket around. Wickstead, who lives in Milan, comes back to New Zealand every year laden with gorgeous designer garments and accessories - think Prada, Chloe, Balenciaga - for men and women. Dancing queen

One of our favourite, and funniest, glam gals around town is TV star Jacquie Brown, so we were delighted to hear she is joining a small cast - including Madeleine Sami - to play a professional dancer in the play Dance Troupe Supreme. That has to be fun. Combine this with the fact that local playwright Tom Sainsbury, who wrote the play, wanted to create a piece about "appreciating what you've got" and we think it's one not to be missed. At the Musgrove Studio, Maidment Theatre on March 19, 20 & 24-27.
