Following UB40's tour in February is a one-off show by Jimmy Cliff, one of reggae music's true originals.
Cliff and his 12-piece band will perform at New Plymouth's Bowl of Brooklands on March 18.
UB40, easily the biggest reggae covers band, do a version of Cliff's hit song Many Rivers To Cross which you can find on his classic 1972 album, The Harder They Come. He also starred in the movie of the same name from 1973.
Joining him is Brazilian musician and composer Chico Cesar, local reggae band Cornerstone Roots and folky rockers Lucid 3.
And Bonnie Prince Billy (aka Will Oldham) loves New Zealand so much he's coming back in January and February to "embark on a three-week scenic camping tour".
Following his sold-out shows in 2004, Oldham returns to perform his way around the country.
Joining him are Kamila Thompson and New Zealand's Greg Cairns, from late-80s avant-garde project Sferic Experiment.
Bonnie Prince Billy plays Raglan, AquaVelvet, Jan 27; Leigh Sawmill, Jan 28 & 29; and Wellington, Indigo, Feb 2.
