Rambo to make movie about Poe

Sylvester Stallone, best known for action roles in Rocky and Rambo, is striking a literary tone with a new film about author Edgar Allan Poe.

Stallone, 58, has written the script and will produce, finance and distribute the film.

He wants Robert Downey jnr to star as the 19th-century American poet and author, according to Daily Variety.
