Queen reigns supreme

Queen have overtaken the Beatles to become the most successful albums act in British chart history.

The group have spent 1322 weeks in the charts compared with 1293 weeks for the Beatles.

It is 30 years since Queen released their first British number one album A Night At The Opera. Queen's Greatest Hits, released in 1981, has spent 450 weeks in the chart.
