KEY POINTS:
LONDON - Princes William and Harry plan to mark the 10th anniversary of their mother Princess Diana's death with a pop concert at the new Wembley Stadium in London, newspapers reported on Sunday.
The event, to be hosted by the princes, would be held on July 1, which would have been Diana's 46th birthday.
Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper reported the concert would be a Live Aid-style event, to raise funds for a variety of charities.
The A-list event is expected to draw more than 90,000 people and will include both local and international artists.
Elton John is rumoured to be closing the event, performing his chart-topping tribute to Diana, Candle in the Wind.
Other celebrities who are being asked to take part include Beyonce, George Michael and Kylie Minogue, according to The Times.
A spokesman for the princes said they were considering a number of events to mark the anniversary but stressed that a final decision had yet to be made.
An official announcement is due to be made on December 12.
