The brightly coloured footwear cops flak for being such a tragic fashion faux pas, but cute future king, Prince George, has managed to make Crocs cool.
The cute toddler was photographed wearing a size 2, navy blue pair of $30 Crocs as he played on the lawn with his mum at the Festival of Polo in Gloucestershire, over the weekend.
Now, just days later, the Kid's Crocbands he wore, with red and white striped detail, have sold out in his size online.
"Size 2 is temporarily out of stock. Enter your email and we'll notify you when the item is restocked," reads notice on the brand's website.
Not surprisingly, the £64 (NZ$120) Olivier Baby and Kids cashmere cardigan Prince George was wearing has also sold out.
The Duke and Duchess' first born is following in his mother's fashionable footsteps, sending sales into a frenzy every time he leaves the house.
The term "The Prince George effect" was coined just three days after his birth in July 2013 when the £20 printed white aden + anais cloth in which the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wrapped their baby son before leaving the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital sold out almost instantly.
Following the family's portrait for Mother's Day in 2013, when the prince sported a baby blue number with "George" emblazoned on his chest, personalised baby clothes retailer My1stYears sold 1,200 jumpers in just four hours.
On a playdate in New Zealand, Prince George wore a stylish smocked romper from Rachel Riley, a British luxury brand for children, which retails at £77 (AUD$125).
The classic tailored dungarees with a sailboat smocked design on the front panel sold out immediately in the six month and 12 month sizes on the company's website.
