Police thwarted an alleged blackmail attempt by two men who wanted to extort US$1 million ($1.49 million) from pop star Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony in exchange for a video of the couple's wedding.
A sting operation led to the arrest of the two men, one of whom is a convicted murderer, according to CBS News. The duo had obtained a copy of the video from Anthony's computer, which had been stolen. The video shows the 2004 wedding of the star couple.
After being contacted by the two men, Lopez and Anthony alerted authorities, who set up the sting.
